JEROME YANCEY

WHY OFFICIATE?

I love the game of basketball and it's a great part time job.

APPROACH:

I like to teach to the fundamentals. I'm an involved teacher meaning I'll be watching you to judge your growth and development. I like to have fun while teaching.

It was originally my way of staying connected to the game I love. It has turned in to a passion and something that I truly love

WHY OFFICIATE?

I have a passion and knowledge of the game from almost every dimension. It typically doesn't feel like "work".

APPROACH:

I prefer to mentor former players they know the game and have been coached already. I think it's an easier transition that gives them a different perspective.
